ITV's Adultery, Starring Dominic Cooper and Romola Garai, Premieres With Full Box Set
ITV's six-part Adultery, starring Dominic Cooper and Romola Garai, premiered October 25 on ITV1 and ITVX.
The series comes from BAFTA winner Danny Brocklehurst, TechRadar reported. Cooper, known for Mamma Mia, plays Tom, and Garai, known for Atonement, plays Beth. Their characters begin a passionate affair after their children start dating, according to the outlet. The story follows their attempts to hide the relationship and stay apart, with betrayal and lies developing around them. TechRadar reported that the production shot multiple different endings, so viewers will not know the conclusion until the final episode.
ITV1's broadcast schedule puts episode one at 9 p.m. on October 25 and episode two at the same time on October 26. Episodes three and four are due on November 1 and November 2, and the final two on November 8 and November 9, according to TechRadar. All episodes are available on ITVX from October 25 for viewers who prefer to watch them at once.
The cast also includes Penelope Jones as Daisy, James Murray as Paul, Ntombizodwa Ndlovu as Sara, Jack Deam as Douglas Wells, Sue Frumin as Mrs. Bailey, Matthew McNulty as Neil and Megan Morgan as Alesha, TechRadar reported.
In the UK, ITVX is free to use but requires registration, and watching ITV requires a valid TV Licence, according to the outlet. TechRadar said it could find no sign that Adultery will be shown in the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand at this time, describing the ITV production as locked to the UK. The guide adds that Britons overseas can use a VPN to access ITVX as they would at home; TechRadar recommends NordVPN and notes that such use is subject to the streaming service's terms.
