Samsung’s Galaxy Buds On clip-on earbuds launch in South Korea as European listings hint at wider release
Samsung’s clip-on Galaxy Buds On launch in South Korea Oct. 27 at about $226; European listings hint at a global release.
The Galaxy Buds On use an open-ear design that lets users listen to audio without blocking their ears, the report said. Android Authority described the approach as suited to listening to a podcast on a morning walk while keeping an ear out for traffic, or enjoying music at work without missing someone calling their name.
Samsung quietly introduced the earbuds earlier this month. They feature TwinBoost speakers and Galaxy AI features, including head gestures and voice memos, according to the report. Samsung has made wireless earbuds for years, but Android Authority said the latest pair is unlike anything the company has released before.
The European retail listings point to an upcoming global launch, with prices in Switzerland ranging from $216 to $241, Android Authority reported. For buyers waiting to get the Galaxy Buds On outside Samsung’s home market, the listings offer some good news, according to the report.
