Amazon releases Quick agentic AI platform for Windows and macOS

Amazon said Quick, its agentic AI platform, is now generally available on Windows and macOS and has an updated iOS and Android feed that consolidates work notifications into one AI-triaged view.

Amazon said Quick is designed to give teams a sense of momentum. The platform provides a dashboard that brings together data across systems, records, meetings, follow-ups and chats in one place throughout the workday.

The company described a common workplace problem: tools used for productivity keep multiplying, while the data they produce remains stuck inside each tool and visibility becomes fragmented. Quick pulls this activity into one overarching view of work, letting AI agents sort low-priority items, summarize them, turn them into bullet points, resolve them or reply with text.

Notifications are another target. As tools increase, alerts expand beyond a few messages to a stream of notices across the day. Ten messages, often high-priority emails from coworkers or customers, can turn into hundreds of alerts from tools, software popups and updates before lunch, Amazon said. Quick aims to show users which notifications relate to what they are working on now, including projects flagged as extremely high priority because they are active in email, chats in Quick or a tool the user is paying attention to. Lower-priority notifications remain in their own space, where users can pull them out, set them aside and bring them back later.

Agents continue to work between desktop and mobile. A user can customize a Quick autonomous agent to scan their inbox before they open it in the morning, provide a tailored summary of overnight activity, or prepare a summary of weekly reports every Monday. Turning off a computer or shutting a laptop does not stop the agents, Amazon said; they keep running in the background and remain accessible across different interfaces.

Amazon stressed that Quick runs on Amazon Web Services Inc. infrastructure, so it can follow users wherever they go. It also uses the company’s enterprise-grade management for security and privacy. Enterprise data stays secure within firewalls, and conversations remain private and auditable within CloudWatch and CloudTrail, Amazon said.
