Chiefs Host Seahawks on Sunday Night as Kenneth Walker Faces His Former Team
Chiefs host Seahawks Sunday night on NBC and Peacock, with Kenneth Walker III facing the team that let him go.
According to TechRadar's viewing guide, Walker rushed for 1,340 yards and nine touchdowns for Seattle last season and was named Super Bowl MVP. The Seahawks opted not to re-sign him. Through the 2026 season he has 665 rushing yards and six touchdowns for Kansas City, while Seattle's most productive running back is Emanuel Wilson, with 303 yards and two scores.
Seattle's larger problem, the outlet reports, has been Sam Darnold's turnovers. He has thrown seven interceptions in a little over four games, some of which turned likely wins into losses. The Seahawks are 3-3 and outside the playoff picture going into the weekend. Patrick Mahomes has been playing well, and the Chiefs defense recorded four sacks against the Chargers a week ago, its first since Week 1.
