Germany Identifies Suspects in Failed Leipzig Airport Drone Attack, Report Says

German authorities have identified two suspects in a failed drone attack at Leipzig airport last month, including a Russian national believed to be linked to the GRU, according to Welt am Sonntag.

The suspects are Russian national Oleg Le, whom authorities understand to be affiliated with the GRU, and Belarusian Andrei Ka, the newspaper reported, citing confidential investigative documents it had seen.

The report said the drone attack failed. It placed the incident at Leipzig airport and said it occurred last month. The newspaper did not provide further details in the account cited.
