Google opens Dreambeans personalization experiment to all US users 18 and older

Google's Dreambeans experiment is now available to US users 18+ on Android and iOS.

Dreambeans can pull context from the Google apps a user chooses to connect, including Gmail, Calendar, Photos, Search, YouTube, and Gemini. It then combines that information with topics the user may care about, such as places worth visiting, something new to watch, or an upcoming event.

The experiment was introduced a couple of months ago as a way to turn information scattered across Google apps into personalized stories and recommendations. The latest rollout opens it much more widely.

Google Photos can make the stories more personal by incorporating photos of the user and loved ones. It can also suggest things they could do together. Users in the US who are 18 or older can access Dreambeans on both Android and iOS.

According to Android Authority, Dreambeans remains an experiment and its availability is limited to the United States and to users aged 18 and older. The report did not provide additional details about a wider international rollout or other platform support.
