Leaked renders show Samsung's clip-on Galaxy Buds On and workout earbuds coded T1
Leaked renders and app data point to two new Samsung earbuds: the clip-on, open-ear Galaxy Buds On, expected in late 2026, and a workout-focused pair coded T1 with ear-hook fit and a 595mAh case.
The Buds On, developed under the codename "Able," appear in renders found inside an internal build of the Buds Manager app, which SammyGuru spotted. The images show a cuff-style design made of two bulb-shaped sections joined by an arched bridge that clips onto the ear, a shape comparable to the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds and the Huawei FreeClip.
Software features listed alongside the renders include head gesture call controls, Auto Volume adjustment, quick voice memo recording with Bixby transcription, and pausing playback while the wearer sleeps. The same material indicates the earbuds will likely ship without active noise cancelation and without 360 Audio with head tracking. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Buds On in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The second leak covers a fitness-oriented model carrying the number SM-R545 and the internal codename T1, previously referred to as the Galaxy Buds Canal 5. References to the unreleased device were found in an unspecified APK file, according to a SammyGuru report. Line renders show an ear-hook shape that wraps around the ear, a locked-in fit intended for workouts and running, rather than the stem design of recent Galaxy Buds or the open-ear cuff of the Buds On.
The T1 material also lists an Earbud Fit Test and customizable touch gestures. Battery specifications indicate 63mAh in each earbud and a 595mAh charging case.
The T1 report follows earlier leaked renders of the Galaxy Buds On and of Samsung Galaxy headphones. Together, the leaks point to a broad expansion of Samsung's wireless audio lineup across open-ear, fitness and over-ear categories.
