T-Mobile to Launch T-Mix Plans With Swappable Apple TV, Netflix Subscriptions
T-Mobile’s T-Mix plans, launching next month, let users switch among Apple TV, Netflix and other subscriptions.
The plans, announced by T-Mobile, come in three versions with different data allowances and other wireless benefits. Each plan includes a number of “Picks” that customers can apply toward subscriptions, device promotions and other perks.
T-Mobile said the subscription options include Apple TV, DashPass by DoorDash, Hulu, Netflix, Pandora and SiriusXM, Apple Music, ESPN Unlimited, Delta SkyMiles, Google Gemini, Paramount+, Xbox Game Pass and YouTube Premium. More partners are expected to be added over time, according to the company.
Customers can switch between subscriptions during four annual selection windows, T-Mobile said. The company also said Picks can be used for wireless benefits such as T-Satellite, Optimized Video Calls and device promotions, including using Picks to get a new phone on Us.
Apple TV requires one Pick, while Apple Music Individual requires two, meaning some subscriptions require more Picks than others and their availability depends on the customer’s plan and number of lines. T-Mobile said Apple TV will remain available for one Pick through June 2027.
T-Mobile directed customers to its official announcement for more details on T-Mix, including restrictions on how often customers can switch between subscriptions and other benefits. The plans are set to launch next month.
