TechRadar Publishes October 26 Answers for Quordle, Connections and Strands
TechRadar posted answers for Quordle #1736, NYT Connections #1233 and NYT Strands #967 on October 26.
For Quordle #1736, TechRadar listed ASSAY, GLEAM, MUCUS and WRING as the four answers. The guide said the puzzle contained four different standard vowels and two answers with repeated letters, while Q, Z, X and J did not appear. None of the answers began with the same letter; their starting letters were A, G, M and W. TechRadar also gave the Daily Sequence answers as VICAR, POLKA, IONIC and ACRID.
For NYT Connections #1233, TechRadar reported four groups. CHILLING, MANAGING, NOT BAD and SAME OLD were classified as responses to 'How are you?'. PRAYER, WELCOME, WRESTLING and YOGA were kinds of mats. HERDING, HOUND, SPORTING and TOY were American Kennel Club dog breed groups. HALLOWEEK, HOSTED, JAWN and PSYCHS were horror movie titles with the last letter changed. TechRadar rated the puzzle hard and said its writer finished with one mistake.
For NYT Strands #967, the theme was 'Please, be my guest!' and the answers were WELCOME, HOST, MEET, INVITE, RECEIVE and ENTERTAIN. The spangram was HOSPITALITY. TechRadar said the spangram had 11 letters and touched the top fourth column and the bottom first column. The guide rated the game hard and said the writer used one hint.
The articles are part of TechRadar's daily word-game coverage, which also points readers to its Wordle, Connections and Quordle pages. The reports identify each puzzle by game number and list the previous day's answers, a format that lets players compare results across dates.
