TESSAN Magic 65W Charging Station Combines Desk Power and MagSafe Charging
TESSAN's Magic 65W hub combines two AC outlets, USB-C, USB-A and a MagSafe stand for desk charging.
The two AC outlets are positioned for desk equipment such as an external monitor, lamp or speaker, which can plug directly into the base station. The review describes that arrangement as useful for managing cables under a desk.
The MagSafe wireless charger doubles as a stand that tilts up to 65 degrees, placing an iPhone at an angle for FaceTime, YouTube Shorts or Standby mode, according to the review. It also charges AirPods at 5 watts.
The review states a trade-off: the station is not Qi2 certified, so iPhone wireless charging tops out at 7.5 watts. That is slower than Qi2 or Qi2.2 chargers, the review says, though it describes the speed as adequate for an all-day or overnight charge and slower for a quick top-off.
An Apple Watch charger is built into the station and can be pulled out for use or tucked back in when not needed. The review says the optional design means one fewer cable hanging off the side of a desk for users who wear an Apple Watch.
The station also has a 0.32-inch ultra-thin flat plug with a 45-degree right-angle design, allowing the hub to sit flush behind a desk without protruding from the wall and leaving the other wall outlet open, according to the review. The TESSAN Magic 65W Charging Station is available from Amazon, the review says.
