007 First Light's First Free DLC Adds New Game Plus, Photo Mode, and Over 700 Fixes

IO Interactive has launched 007 First Light's first free DLC, Extended Operations, with Update 1.3.0, adding New Game Plus, Photo Mode, a new Jungle Heist mission, a 00 difficulty, the Valhalla Protocol, new weapons, outfits, and over 700 fixes.

The Extended Operations DLC includes some of the most requested features from fans since the game's release earlier this year. New Game Plus lets players replay the game with their progress, while Photo Mode gives them tools to capture images. The new "00" difficulty is designed "for those ready to show they’ve truly earned the number," according to the patch notes cited by TechRadar.

The new Jungle Heist mission sends players back to The Pearl villa in Vietnam to recover special documents. In the Valhalla Protocol, players drive the Aston Martin Valhalla again in an action-packed side activity. IOI said in the patch notes: "Take the wheel of Bond's most heavily armed ride and cut loose on the open road, with machine guns and missile launchers at your command." The activity is part of TacSim and takes place in Slovakia, where players can "show off your best driving skills and aim for the highest score," the patch notes said.

More TacSim weapons have been added, including the Storm 12 Gauge and Squire Marksman Rifle. Three new Bond outfits are also available. Players can claim a new IOI Account reward, The Grey Standard outfit, until November 1, and a separate Twitch Drop outfit is available from today until October 16.

To celebrate seven million game wishlists, players can meet the newest member of the MI6 HQ personnel, Jack the Bulldog, described as "a distinguished and charming resident offering support in the form of his presence." Players can pet him.

Extended Operations also "brings over 700 fixes and improvements to the game," covering everything from crashes and progression blockers to "refined weapon handling animations across the arsenal," according to TechRadar. Update 1.3.0 and the Extended Operations DLC are now live.
