T-Mobile T-Mix Plans Start at $55 With Poolable Perk Points
T-Mobile's T-Mix plans start at $55 and let customers pool perk points for subscriptions, Android Authority reports.
The Standard plan starts at $55 a month, while T-Mix More and T-Mix Loaded start at $75 and $95, respectively, the column said. Four lines on Standard would cost $115 a month, and four lines on Loaded would cost $240 a month. Standard has limits on data and streaming quality; More and Loaded include unlimited data and 4K streaming.
Perk points are central to the plans. Standard gives one point per line and Loaded gives three, and points can be pooled across one account, according to the column. Available perks range from a Netflix standard account with ads to an ESPN Ultimate subscription.
The column highlighted Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which normally costs $22 a month, as included in the $95 Loaded plan when a customer uses three perk points. An ad-free Netflix account also costs three perk points, and ESPN Ultimate is aimed at sports fans who can pool points from multiple lines. Customers are not locked into their choices and can mix different combinations every three months.
The Android Authority writer, a longtime T-Mobile subscriber in rural Northern New Jersey, cited strong signal in mountains and valleys and Ultra Capacity 5G performance. The writer said T-Mobile costs less per month than AT&T and is flexible enough to test different phones, including overseas releases. The writer said selecting perks makes them more likely to be used and turns them into visible savings. With three lines for testing, the writer said, the setup would qualify for six perk points and $155 a month would be offset by $50 to $60 in savings.
The column also noted a potential catch: T-Mobile may tie future discounts and new-phone promotions to perk points. A customer who wants the latest Galaxy phone at a low monthly price may have to spend three perk points for the life of the loan, giving up some subscriptions, according to the column.
