A24 Comedy It Gets Worse to Premiere Free on Channel 4 in UK
A24's It Gets Worse, by Leo Reich, launches free on Channel 4 UK Oct. 22; Paramount+ US Nov. 6; Binge Oct. 23.
The series follows three friends who met at university and now live in London, dealing with work, love and landlords in the post-graduate years, TechRadar reported. Reich plays Ethan, with Emily Fairn as Abi and Olive Gray as Sam. The cast also includes Gary Beadle as Sandie and Simon Haines as Lucas, while Zadie Smith is listed as narrator.
TechRadar reported that the show has several high-profile guest stars, including Amelia Dimoldenberg, Lena Dunham, Andrew Scott and Blake Harrison. Dimoldenberg plays Emily, Dunham plays Greta and Harrison plays Roger, according to the cast list in the report.
Channel 4 is a free UK streaming service, and viewers need an account with a valid UK postcode, the report said. The first episode is scheduled for broadcast at 10:05 p.m. on Oct. 22, with all six episodes available online from the same date. TechRadar also said viewers outside the UK can use a VPN to access Channel 4, and it recommended NordVPN in its guide.
For viewers in the United States, It Gets Worse will stream on Paramount+ from Nov. 6, TechRadar reported. In Australia, it will air on Binge and Foxtel from Oct. 23. In Canada, the series will be on Crave as a Crave Original in association with A24, but Crave has not announced a release date.
