Agnes Releases Free AI Video Model 2.5 Flash on Pavo Platform

Agnes launched Video 2.5 series on Pavo, with Flash tier fully free and no credits needed, enabling high-volume AI video generation for short-drama creators.

According to the report, QbitAI tested the free tier by recreating the popular short video "Cloud Palace" and produced a refined version of "Niu Lai" using Pavo's infinite canvas feature. The canvas allows users to add text, images, video, audio, and other materials, connect nodes, and generate multiple branches from any intermediate node. A 3D director's stage enables precise control over character positioning, poses, and proportions. Pavo also offers a dedicated short-drama mode that guides users through AI-assisted steps including requirement confirmation, script outline, character and scene design, storyboard scripts, keyframes, storyboard videos, and final assembly. All of these workflows, when using Video 2.5 Flash, are free.

The report notes that Video 2.5 has also improved significantly on the Artificial Analysis leaderboard compared with the previous 2.0 version, reaching the level of major global players. In terms of cost, the standard 2.5 tier costs only 0.15 yuan per second.

QbitAI said the free tier changes the economics of AI video creation. In practice, generating a polished shot often requires multiple attempts. Because the Flash tier is free, creators can render two or three versions of a single shot without worrying about costs. The infinite canvas preserves satisfactory intermediate versions, allowing re-generation from any node, while reusable assets such as characters and scenes eliminate repetitive prompts across dozens of shots.

The report adds that AI video is shifting from producing a single impressive clip to creating complete works such as short films, music videos, ads, and short dramas. As models stabilize and costs drop, factors like controllability, consistency, and the ability to connect script, characters, storyboards, and final output become increasingly important. More than ever, the decisive factor for AI video creation is the originality of the idea.
