The AirPods Pro 3 include five ear tip sizes, live translation, and what The Verge described as fantastic sound. The Verge said it expects other retailers to offer a similar price in the coming days. The publication noted that the discount arrives alongside other October Prime Day promotions, including deals on the latest iPad Mini and M5 MacBook Airs.

Since June's Prime Day, Apple has launched the AirPods 5. The most feature-complete version of the AirPods 5, which comes with a wireless charging case, costs $149.99. The Verge said those earbuds are a good option for people who prefer a design that does not form a seal in the ear, but that the AirPods Pro 3 are a much better value for everyone else at just $30 more during the current sale.

The AirPods Pro 3 feature a new design that improves fit, superior noise cancellation, better bass, and fairly accurate heart rate sensors, according to The Verge. At Amazon, the price is listed at $179, compared with the original $249.
