Aldi restocks £49.99 Ninja Double Stack lookalike after launch delay
Aldi is bringing back its £49.99 Ambiano Vertical Air Fryer, a Ninja Double Stack lookalike, and its £34.99 capsule coffee machine.
The Ambiano copies the two-tier layout of the award-winning Ninja Double Stack, offering two temperature-controlled baskets and nine cooking presets selected through a touch-sensitive control panel. It does not, however, include the Double Stack's syncing function, which brings both drawers to the end of cooking at the same time, and it omits Ninja's racks, which let owners cook two different foods in a single drawer. Aldi sells air fryer accessories for the machine, including liners and trays.
Aldi has not announced a new on-sale date. TechRadar reported that shoppers can bookmark the retailer's in-store availability guide to find out when the air fryer reaches their local branch.
The fryer is not the only appliance returning to Aldi's shelves. The Ambiano Capsule Coffee Machine is back as well, priced at £34.99. The compact model has a 650ml water tank and takes Nespresso Original-style pods, and it is available now while stock lasts.
For buyers who want a machine that brews Nespresso Vertuo pods instead, TechRadar named the Nespresso Vertuo Pop as the alternative, noting it is often discounted to around £49 during sales events such as Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, which begins next week. Access to those prices requires an Amazon Prime membership, although a 30-day free trial covers the promotional period and includes free delivery and Prime Video.
The Ambiano Vertical Air Fryer is one of several supermarket own-brand appliances positioned as lower-cost alternatives to branded kitchen equipment. Aldi has previously scheduled the vertical model for an October release; the delay leaves the exact restocking date open.
