IDC report via Leiphone: Alibaba Cloud held 45.1% of China's automotive public cloud market in H1 2026, revenue up 111%.

The report, IDC's China Automotive Cloud Market (First Half of 2026) Tracking, put Alibaba Cloud's share at nearly half of the total. Leiphone reported that demand for computing resources and AI technology in the automotive industry has continued to grow as large models are deployed in smart cockpits and advanced driver-assistance systems.

Leiphone said Alibaba Cloud, which provides full-stack AI services, is becoming a mainstream choice for more automakers. It cited the company's Qwen large models, Pingtouge self-developed AI chips and cloud and AI infrastructure that it describes as cost-effective and highly stable.
