Alibaba Launches Wan3.0 Video Generation Model with Stability and Realism
Alibaba released its video generation model Wan3.0 on August 24, capable of generating 30-second videos and supporting document inputs, with enterprise users praising its stability, realism, and texture.
The upgrade covers generation duration, universal creation, comprehensive reference, and real-world restoration. During public testing, creators who had witnessed the evolution of the Wan model family described Wan3.0 as "the most surprising" update. Enterprise user feedback has been highly consistent, with "stable, real, and textured" repeatedly cited as the key strengths.
Stability means that Wan3.0 can maintain fine-grained consistency across characters, props, sounds, spatial relationships, and styles, which is critical for enterprise users pursuing productivity. In a high-speed car chase example, Wan3.0 understood the reference material and handled long-sequence narrative, keeping characters, vehicles, and environment consistent over 30 seconds, from boarding to pursuit and explosion, without repeated trial and error.
Realism marks a watershed in moving away from the "AI feel." An enterprise user noted that Wan3.0 supplies the long-missing element of stable live-action texture.
