Alibaba’s Accio and Douyin’s Qianchuan Chengfang Push Double 11 Merchant Efficiency
Alibaba’s Accio is helping merchants cut Double 11 preparation and cross-platform optimization, while Douyin’s Qianchuan Chengfang playbook focuses on full-chain marketing costs and conversion tools, Leiphone reported.
Accio, described by Leiphone as Alibaba’s global e-commerce AI workbench, offers cross-platform store diagnosis, product selection and listing, data analysis, ad-performance analysis, product-data cleaning, material-package completion and competitor search. The report said these functions were among the most used by merchants during this year’s Double 11.
Bangbang, a young e-commerce operator, said reviewing and changing promotion status for each product used to take at least two hours on a single platform. With Accio, he said he sorted high- and low-return products across platforms in about 15 minutes. He had previously used AI to take a new product from zero to 100 orders a day in six days, and on the first day of Double 11 he used Accio to compare performance on Tmall, Pinduoduo and JD.com before adjusting budgets and best-seller plans.
Zhou Minghui, general manager of Changzhou Kalanta International Import and Export Co., built a Double 11 dashboard with Accio that shows real-time data across platforms and stores. He said identifying an anomaly or opportunity that once took hours of manual checks can now be done in seconds, and that Accio’s data integration and cleaning let a team that previously spent most of its time extracting and merging data focus on stocking, creative materials and cross-department coordination.
At Duchii’s flagship store, senior operator Yang Xingkai said Accio helped the team use market data to choose patterns before production, then turn product features into visual assets for listing. Four hours after sales began, the store’s newly added knitwear and sweater category had 80% GMV growth, while new casual pants, jeans, sets and shirts grew by 200% to 600%, according to the report. Yang said the product-development cycle, which used to take about two months including 10 to 15 days of market research, was shortened, and new-product promotion started 10 to 15 days earlier than in previous years.
Xiaobei, head of the Meidi flagship store, which has annual sales of more than 400 million yuan and operates dozens of stores and thousands of SKUs on Taobao, Pinduoduo, Douyin and Xiaohongshu, said Accio helped the team identify core profit products during the pre-sale period and prepare customer-service scripts for different groups. After Accio analyzed customer-service records and attributed user pain points, the team revised selling points and regenerated main images and detail pages; the conversion rate of one product rose by 2 percentage points on Double 11 day.
Separately, the 2026 Qianchuan Chengfang Advertising Playbook focuses on Douyin’s interest e-commerce. Leiphone reported that Qianchuan Chengfang’s core change is to include influencer commissions, material production and marketing benefits in cost accounting, using a comprehensive marketing ROI to reflect real business returns. Existing campaigns can be upgraded with one click, and running campaigns can continue with their original model capabilities, the report said.
The playbook recommends that merchants prepare material supply at least three weeks in advance, use star-selected influencer materials for top live-room products and bring in multiple service providers to compete on quality and creative diversity. It also describes dual commissions for influencer marketing, which the report said can raise the number of cooperating influencers by an estimated 10% to 15%, automatic campaign creation for alliance influencers, and a combined influencer-commission bidding and joint push mechanism.
For conversion, Qianchuan Chengfang offers smart coupons, smart shipping insurance and smart installment interest-free benefits. Smart coupons target high-intent shoppers who still hesitate, and for products priced above 400 yuan the system can automatically raise the coupon amount, with a maximum subsidy of 400 yuan per coupon; the report said this could lift GMV by 5% to 10%. The playbook also lays out six scenarios, including new-product cold start, new-account cold start, new-material testing, new-customer expansion, Double 11 breakout and influencer or celebrity sessions.
For Double 11, the playbook divides spending into preparation, the sales day and the closing period. It advises merchants to stock materials and set budgets before the event, use suggested bids and budget controls on the day, run live-stream and product promotion in parallel, and shift back to regular bidding as traffic falls.
