Alipay Launches Property Fee Portal to Digitize Community Services
At the CRIC Service Power Conference, Alipay unveiled a property fee payment entry on its life services platform, aiming to streamline payments for nearly 5,000 residential communities.
On the same day, Alipay's life payment platform launched a dedicated property fee payment entrance, integrating property services into this major public service window used by hundreds of millions. Building on 18 years of experience in public service operations, Alipay has created an integrated "service + payment" entrance, allowing residents to check and pay property fees while handling daily utility transactions. For property partners, the platform combines message push notifications to form a complete operational chain of "reach, conversion, and retention". To date, nearly 5,000 residential communities have joined the Alipay life payment platform.
To ensure long-term service delivery, Alipay has restructured property service processes using product, AI, and operations capabilities. AI-powered conversational payment simplifies multi-step operations into voice commands, supporting bill inquiries and automatic deduction sign-up with user authorization, thereby reducing the operational burden on residents. Additionally, the platform offers payment discounts and check-in activities as operational tools to stimulate payment willingness. Alipay stated that digital capabilities are becoming a key support for improving property service efficiency. Through convenient payment, bill reminders, automatic deductions, and supporting operational tools, some partner communities have seen increased willingness among owners to pay voluntarily, and property management has improved in both collection efficiency and cost recovery operations.
Looking ahead, Alipay said it will continue to deepen its presence in the community services sector, leveraging its digital infrastructure to empower property partners and drive the industry's shift from scale expansion to quality operations, benefiting both resident satisfaction and corporate profitability.
