Alipay's Abao Adds Traffic Management Services Ahead of Holiday Travel Peak

Rental car violation processing is highlighted as a key update. In a scenario where a vehicle has already been returned but a traffic violation notice arrives several days later, a user can tell Abao "I want to handle a rental vehicle violation." The user does not need to search for the service entrance or click through multiple levels, and can enter the relevant service page and complete the process in one minute, the report said.

For drivers who forget to carry a license, Abao allows users to say "apply for an electronic driver's license" to enter the electronic driver's license application page and complete the application. When needed, users can also check the electronic certificate with one sentence, which the report says helps avoid concerns about not carrying a paper driver's license during temporary driving inspections.

In crowded scenic areas or parking lots, if a vehicle is blocked, a user can tell Abao "help me ask someone to move the car" to enter the one-click car-moving service page, input the other party's license plate and contact the owner anonymously. This is designed to avoid waiting in place, according to the report.

For users driving across cities or regions, off-site traffic violation processing is also described as more convenient. Through Abao, users can query relevant information and follow page prompts to process the violation and pay fines, avoiding the need to make a special trip, according to the report.

The report said the newly added traffic management services cover the full process of holiday self-driving travel, from document preparation before departure and car-moving needs during the trip to traffic violation processing after the trip. Besides using Abao, car owners can also handle related business through the "Traffic Management 12123" Alipay mini program.
