Aluminum MagSafe Wallet Uses One-Click Ejector for Up to Three Cards

The review, part of 9to5Mac's MagSafe Monday column by Bradley Chambers, says the eject button is the product's main differentiator. The button slides to fan cards upward so a user can grab the needed card one-handed. According to the review, a basic slot MagSafe wallet may be fine for someone who carries one card and never needs to choose between cards, but for users carrying two or three cards who want to pick the right one quickly at checkout, the ejector earns its place.

The wallet is machined from lightweight aluminum with a scratch-resistant finish, according to the review, and comes in a range of colors intended to match an iPhone or case. It uses 32 built-in magnetic strips to snap onto a MagSafe-compatible iPhone. The reviewer said the wallet feels solid but had not used it long enough to know how the finish holds up.

The aluminum housing claims to block 13.56MHz RFID frequencies, the review says, protecting contactless credit cards and IDs from electronic skimming in airports and other locations. The wallet holds up to three cards. That covers most everyday carry setups, the review says, but it is not suited to users who need four or five cards accessible. The reviewer wrote that if the wallet held five cards, it would be perfect.

The wallet does not support Apple's Find My network, according to the review. If Find My matters to a buyer, the review says, that buyer will need to look elsewhere. For users who want a clean metal MagSafe wallet with a fast card ejector and a solid MagSafe hold, the review says the product does the job well. The wallet is available from Amazon, the review says.

Editor's Summary The reviewed aluminum MagSafe wallet stands out for a side eject button that fans up to three cards for one-handed access. It offers RFID-blocking claims, a metal build, and MagSafe attachment, but it lacks Find My support and cannot hold more than three cards. It is sold on Amazon.
