This is not the first time Alexa has behaved strangely. A couple of months earlier, users were taken aback when the assistant emitted guttural sounds that resembled those of a snarling animal, according to Android Authority. The latest repetition problem was described as somewhat less unnerving than that earlier episode.
It was not immediately clear which Alexa devices, regions, or software versions were affected. Android Authority asked readers to report whether they had encountered the bug on their devices.
