Amazon cuts $100 off NETGEAR Orbi 770 Wi-Fi 7 mesh system
Amazon cut $100 off the NETGEAR Orbi 770 Wi-Fi 7 mesh system, lowering its price to $449.99, an 18% discount, according to Android Authority.
The discount represents an 18 percent saving relative to the recommended retail price and applies to a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh system designed for larger homes that want fast speeds and wide coverage without upgrading to Netgear's top-tier lineup. The Orbi 770 uses the 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz bands on one unified network, allowing devices to stay connected as people move around the house.
Netgear rates the system at a combined wireless speed of up to roughly 11 Gbps. Standard bundles cover about 5,500 square feet with two units or about 8,000 square feet with three units, making the system a fit for busy households with many connected devices. It supports Wi-Fi 7 features including multi-link backhaul between the router and satellites, which helps the mesh system transfer data more efficiently between units.
The Orbi 770 is managed through the Orbi app and accepts add-on satellites if coverage needs to be expanded later. Android Authority called the Amazon price a strong chance to get high-end whole-home Wi-Fi for less and said the 18 percent discount makes now a good time to buy for anyone considering a Wi-Fi 7 mesh upgrade.
