Amazon Cuts $600 Off 14-Inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro, Discounts AirPods and M6 Mac mini
According to 9to5Mac, Amazon is offering a $600 discount on the 14-inch 2TB M5 Pro MacBook Pro, bringing it to $2,399, alongside deals on AirPods Pro 3, AirPods Max 2, M6 Mac mini, and iPhone 18 Pro cases.
The 14.2-inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro configuration with 24GB memory and 2TB storage in Space Black is listed at $2,399 shipped at Amazon. 9to5Mac described it as one of the best MacBook deals of the year and said it is the lowest price tracked in months, including the fall Prime Day event. The price is $200 below the pre-price-hike manufacturer’s suggested retail price, the report said, even though recent official price increases across tech have meant many discounts only return products to earlier list prices.
Other MacBook Pro configurations are also discounted. The 14.2-inch M5 Max with 36GB memory and 2TB storage in Space Black is $3,499, down from $4,099. The 14.2-inch M5 Pro with 24GB memory and 2TB storage in Silver is $2,599, down from $3,199, while the 14.2-inch M5 Pro with 24GB memory and 1TB storage in Silver is $2,299, down from $2,499. Among 16-inch models, the M5 Pro with 24GB memory and 1TB storage in Space Black is $2,499, down from $2,999.
On audio, the roundup lists AirPods Pro 3 at $199, reduced from $249, and AirPods Max 2 at $429, reduced from $549. The AirPods Pro 3 discount is $50, while the AirPods Max 2 discount is $120.
For desktop Macs, 9to5Mac said all-time lows on the new M6 Mac mini lineup are beginning to disappear. Amazon had offered between $120 and $150 off the new M6 Mac mini lineup for fall Prime Day, including the higher-end M5 Pro model, but some prices are rising again. As of Monday morning, the 2026 M6 Mac mini with 16GB memory and 256GB storage was $780, down from $899 and within $11 of its all-time low; the 16GB/512GB model was $950, down from $1,099 and at an all-time low; and the 2026 M5 Max Mac Studio was $2,300, down from $2,499 and at an all-time low. The 24GB M6 Mac mini and the M5 Pro model had already jumped back up, and the report said it was unclear when they might return.
