Amazon cuts Arlo Video Doorbell 2K to $49.99, a 38% discount
Amazon has dropped the Arlo Video Doorbell 2K (2nd Gen) to $49.99, a 38% saving from the $79.99 list price, according to Android Authority.
The second-generation video doorbell records in 2K resolution with a 180-degree field of view and a square-style image, showing visitors from head to toe and packages near the entrance. It includes motion alerts, live view, two-way audio, night vision, and an integrated siren.
The device can run on battery or be hardwired to existing doorbell wiring, and it works with the Arlo app, Alexa, and Google Home. It does not require an Arlo SmartHub or Base Station for normal use, according to Android Authority. Optional add-ons include a chime and the Arlo Secure service, which provides extended video history and smarter alerts.
