Amazon cuts Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 price to $1,649.99
Amazon has discounted Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 to $1,649.99, saving $250 off the retail price in what Android Authority says is the first such deal on the foldable.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 features a 7.6-inch main display with a squarer 4:3-style aspect ratio suited for reading, split-screen work, and tablet-like app use. Samsung also equipped it with a wider outer screen and a more balanced shape, making the device feel more natural to use when closed compared with narrower foldables, the report said.
Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, with AI features aimed at multitasking, camera assistance, and on-device productivity. The battery capacity is listed at 5,000mAh, and Samsung highlights a silicon-based battery design with safeguards around the newer chemistry. Android Authority also notes the device holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5.
