The WH-CH730N is a mid-range follow-up to Sony's WH-CH720N. According to Android Authority, Sony focused the model on long battery life, better portability and everyday use. The headphones have a foldable design that makes them easier to carry than the older model.

Sony improved sound and active noise canceling compared with the CH720N while keeping the headphones in the budget-to-midrange segment, Android Authority reported. The model supports Bluetooth for wireless listening and calls, and it also offers wired listening through a 3.5mm connection.

Battery life is listed at up to 50 hours with noise canceling on and up to 75 hours with it off. Android Authority said those features suit commuting, travel, work and daily listening at home.

The Amazon price is 29% below the recommended retail price, a saving of $51. Android Authority said the $128 price makes the WH-CH730N a strong value option for comfort, long battery life and decent noise canceling from a well-known audio brand.
