Amazon has cut the iRobot Roomba 505 Robot Vacuum & Mop Combo to $469.99, a 53% discount from $999.99 and the lowest price seen this year, according to Android Authority.

According to Android Authority, the offer was posted on Sept. 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET and represents the lowest price the publication has seen for the Roomba 505 this year. The discount totals $530 off the list price. The Roomba 505 is a newer combination model designed around hands-off floor cleaning, the report said.

The robot can vacuum and mop, and it ships with an AutoWash dock that performs several maintenance tasks. According to the report, the dock can empty debris, wash the mop pads, heat-dry them, and clean itself after jobs. That setup reduces the need for users to manage each step manually.

For navigation, the Roomba 505 uses LiDAR-based mapping and obstacle recognition to plot routes and move around furniture and other objects. It also uses spinning mop pads, with edge-focused cleaning intended to reach deeper into corners. Android Authority said this makes the model suited to everyday floor care, particularly on hard floors where mopping can make a larger difference.

The Roomba 505 is positioned in the premium robot vacuum-and-mop segment. At its regular $999.99 price, it competes in that higher-end space; at $469.99, the deal puts it under $500. Android Authority described the offer as a good time to buy for shoppers who have been waiting for a larger price drop on a Roomba that can vacuum, mop, and handle much of its own maintenance.
