Amazon Echo Show discounts go live ahead of 6-7 October Prime Day
Echo Show discounts are already live in the US and UK ahead of Amazon's 6-7 October Prime Day, with the Show 11 back at $149.99 in the US — the same price it reached in June.
The company now holds two Prime Day events a year, one around July and one around October, and each typically lasts at least two days. Prime Day pricing was traditionally reserved for Prime subscribers, but early deals are increasingly appearing before the official event and are open to all shoppers. TechRadar reports that is the case this year for the Echo Show range as well as a number of other Amazon devices.
The Echo Show 11 is currently $149.99 in the US, the same price it sold for in June. TechRadar notes that Amazon has raised list prices alongside the discounts, which makes the reductions appear larger than they are: at that unchanged $149.99 price, the Show 11 is now shown as 40% off, against 32% in June.
For comparison, the June 2026 Prime Day pricing in the US was $59.99 for the Echo Show 5 against a list price of $89.99, $124.99 for the Show 8 (list $179.99), $149.99 for the Show 11 (list $219.99), $249.99 for the Show 15 (list $299.99) and $319.99 for the Show 21 (list $399.99). In the UK, the Show 5 was £49.99 against £89.99, the Show 8 was £114.99 against £179.99, the Show 11 was £139.99 against £219.99 and the Show 15 was £239.99 against £299.99, while the Show 21 stayed at its £399.99 list price with no discount.
TechRadar's buying advice is to buy the model you want now rather than wait, on the expectation that prices will not fall further during this event; waiting for the next Prime Day is described as a gamble because prices are generally trending upward.
The Echo Show line consists of speakers with displays that serve as hubs for controlling a smart home. The number in each product name indicates screen size. The Show 21 has the largest display at 21 inches in full HD, followed by the 15.5-inch Show 15 and the 11-inch Show 11, both also full HD. The Show 5 is the cheapest and most compact option at less than half the price of the next model up, but it uses a 5.5-inch non-HD touchscreen, a single 1.75-inch speaker and a 2MP camera. The Show 8 and Show 11 step up to two full-range drivers and a 2.8-inch woofer, plus a 13MP camera with auto-framing; the Show 8 has an 8.7-inch HD touchscreen and the Show 11 an 11-inch full HD screen. The Show 15 and Show 21 add two 2-inch woofers and two 0.6-inch tweeters along with wide-angle 13MP cameras with auto-framing. The Show 5 is a third-generation model from 2023, the Show 8 a fourth-generation model from 2025, the Show 11 and Show 21 first-generation models from 2025 and 2024 respectively, and the Show 15 a second-generation model from 2024.
