Android Authority Publishes October 7 Wallpaper Wednesday Collection

The latest collection includes six reader submissions and three images from the Android Authority team. The publication said the images shown in the article are compressed and optimized for website performance and are for demonstration only; full-resolution files can be downloaded through a Drive link that also contains wallpapers from previous weeks.

Among the staff selections, Bogdan Petrovan contributed an image of trees against the sky. Edgar Cervantes submitted an architectural shot of the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington, taken while looking straight up during a work trip. Jonathan Feist contributed an image from a recent trip to Scotland, featuring an old building and a bird flying past; the article said timing and luck helped make the photograph distinctive.

Minh Diem submitted two wallpapers. One shows a classic scooter and was captured with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The second complements the scene and looks as though it could be the building in front of which the motorcycle was parked.

Felipe Freitas contributed a moon image captured with a Samsung Galaxy A23 5G and an amateur telescope fitted with a smartphone mount. According to the article, the shot was difficult because any movement could shake the setup and blur the photo.

Bhuvan L submitted a bird photograph taken in Bangalore, India, with a Nikon D3400. Bharathwaj Bala contributed a sunset image with leading lines and a motorcycle rider, shot with an iPhone 17 Pro. Minenhle Msizi Dube submitted a black-and-white photograph taken in KwaDlangezwa, South Africa, showing a road whose direction adds uncertainty and mood.

Android Authority said it continues to seek reader submissions and directs readers to the bottom of the article for information on how to have an image featured in a future Wallpaper Wednesday. The publication also invited readers to set it as a favorite source in Google Discover and as a preferred source in Google Search.
