Android Authority Releases September 30 Wallpaper Wednesday With Nine Free Wallpapers

Android Authority said the newest wallpapers and all images from previous weeks are available through a Drive link. Images displayed in the article were compressed and optimized for website performance, reducing their quality and making them demonstrations only; full-resolution files are available through the Drive link. The publication also pointed readers to the bottom of the article for submission instructions.

The first three wallpapers came from the Android Authority team. Content director Bogdan Petrovan contributed a flower image with toned-down colors and a hazy ambiance that Android Authority described as moody. Akshay Singh Gangwar submitted a busy city scene taken from an unusual angle. Jonathan Feist captured the third image during a recent trip to Scotland, showing ocean pebbles mixed with shells and other patterns.

The remaining six images came from readers. Minh Diem, in Long An, Vietnam, submitted a flower photographed against a sky to create a silhouette effect using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Diem also contributed a rainy-day image that Android Authority said looked like a movie scene. Shaukat Hayat sent an image from Azerbaijan featuring evening lighting and a classic car, shot with a vivo Y33S.

Lisa C captured a dragonfly with a Motorola Signature, after a dragonfly appeared in the previous week's roundup. Surendran photographed the moon during the daytime with a Google Pixel 8a. Minenhle Msizi Dube submitted a unique flower image captured during a daily forest walk and edited with Snapseed; Android Authority noted that Dube has been featured in Wallpaper Wednesday before.

Android Authority said it is seeking reader contributions and set rules for submissions. The images must be the submitter's own creation, such as photos taken or digital art created by the submitter, and readers should not submit other people's work. Purely AI-created images will not be accepted, according to the publication.
