Anker's 100W Universal Travel Adapter Falls to $63.99 for October Prime Day
Anker's Nano 100W universal travel adapter, which carries four USB ports and plugs for US, UK and EU outlets, is discounted to $63.99 from $79.99 at Amazon during October Prime Day, according to The Verge.
The charger is aimed at travelers who pack light and carry several USB-C devices. It ships with US, UK and EU plugs and can adapt to outlets in more than 200 countries and regions, the publication reported.
The adapter carries four USB ports in total: two USB-C ports that each support up to 100W when used on their own, a third USB-C port for an additional device, and one USB-A port. A screen on the exterior shows how much power is being pushed to each port and displays charging status. The prongs fold away for packing the charger before a flight or when leaving a hotel.
The device does not include an AC plug, so it cannot pass through power to gear that needs a conventional wall socket. The design puts the emphasis on USB charging capacity rather than outlet pass-through.
At $63.99, the discounted price is $16 below the $79.99 list price cited by The Verge. The deal is available at Amazon for the duration of the October Prime Day event.
