Anycubic Kobra 3 Max V2 Combo gets $330 early-bird discount with four-color printing

Anycubic reduces the Kobra 3 Max V2 Combo to $569 from $899, a 37% saving on a large-format 3D printer bundle with four-color printing and AI detection, as reported by TechRadar.

The combo pairs the large-format Kobra 3 Max V2 printer with the ACE 2 Pro, offering a 420 x 420 x 500 mm build volume and four-color printing out of the box. The system supports up to eight colors with additional hardware. The printer can reach speeds of 600 mm/s and includes automatic bed leveling, filament detection, and AI spaghetti detection to reduce failed prints.

TechRadar highlights that the build area is large enough for models that would normally need to be printed in multiple sections on smaller machines, or for filling the bed with several smaller objects at once. The ACE 2 Pro also actively dries filament at temperatures up to 65°C. LeviQ 3.0 handles automatic leveling and Z-offset adjustment, while automatic resume and entanglement detection further protect against wasted material.

For context, a separate version of the printer capable of eight-color output is listed at $788, down from $1,228, according to TechRadar. Anycubic is also offering selected Kobra 3 Max V2 Series accessories at 50% off when purchased with the printer.

However, TechRadar advises that the printer is less suitable for users who mainly print small, single-color objects, as the large build volume and ACE 2 Pro are central to its appeal. The printer itself measures 706 x 640 x 753 mm and weighs about 18 kg, while the ACE 2 Pro measures 368 x 291.5 x 236.5 mm and adds 3.7 kg, so owners need ample physical space.
