Apollo debuts AI app builder, intelligence layer and signal-based outreach system

Apollo introduced Builder Studio, an Intelligence Layer and Messaging OS at ApolloNEXT 2026, aiming to consolidate sales and marketing workflows and reduce tool sprawl for revenue teams.

The launch targets what Apollo describes as tool sprawl. Most sales organizations assembled software one product at a time, often using different vendors for prospecting, enrichment and outreach. Apollo said AI has made that arrangement harder to justify because a model can only work with the context it is given.

An Apollo survey of more than 300 go-to-market leaders and operators found end-to-end workflow automation ranked as the top priority for revenue teams. Most of the teams surveyed are still juggling two to five sales and marketing platforms, according to the company.

Three products make up the release. Apollo Builder Studio takes a plain-English description and produces a working tool, whether that is a web page, a database or an automation. It writes real code that runs on Apollo’s own data and execution infrastructure, so staff without engineering support can deploy their own systems. Apollo said less technical operators are one audience because the tools they want would otherwise sit in an engineering backlog. Experienced builders should be able to put systems together faster, the company said.

The Apollo Intelligence Layer is designed to work out what a team should do next. Within it, Apollo Intelligence Profile maintains a continuously updated view of every contact and account, with data drawn from multiple sources and enriched along the way. The layer’s other part, GTM Harness, provides specialized agents and skills for jobs such as prospecting, research and email deliverability. Those agents combine profile data with a customer’s own sales context, plus memory and governance controls, before recommending or taking an action.

Apollo Messaging OS handles outreach. It watches for buying signals and uses AI to decide who gets contacted, when and on which channel. Putting sales and marketing on the same system is meant to stop the two teams from hitting the same buyer with separate, overlapping campaigns. Every send also feeds results back into the system.

Customers do not have to move everything into Apollo’s interface. Teams can work inside Apollo or plug its data and agents into the software and AI tools they already use. For smaller businesses, Apollo is positioning the new products as a substitute for hiring a large revenue operations team or buying a pile of point solutions.

Chief Executive Matt Curl, who took over from co-founder Tim Zheng in February, introduced the products during his keynote at ApolloNEXT 2026. He said go-to-market has reached “a structural inflection point,” with AI changing how companies set up their entire revenue operation. “You no longer need a RevOps army and millions of dollars to build a successful engine,” Curl said.

Apollo, officially ZenLeads Inc., is a venture capital-backed startup that says 5 million people at more than 600,000 companies use its software. Fortune 500 companies account for more than 100 of its customer teams. Its publicly disclosed funding history stops with a $100 million Series D round that Bain Capital Ventures led in August 2023 at a $1.6 billion valuation. Including that round, the company has raised about $250 million.
