Apple Adds Aqara Thermostat Hub W200 and Seven More Accessories to Stores

Apple this week added eight third-party accessories to its stores, including the Aqara Thermostat Hub W200 and Aqara Climate Sensor W100, expanding Apple Home-compatible smart home options.

Aqara first launched the Thermostat Hub W200 in April after unveiling it at CES 2026 in January. Apple's price is $10 higher than Amazon's price, but 9to5Mac reported that buying from Apple may be useful for customers who have Apple credit to spend or who are already shopping from Apple. Apple's decision to carry the product is a strong endorsement, the report said.

The Aqara Thermostat Hub W200 supports Apple Home-specific features including Apple Adaptive Temperature and Clean Energy Guidance. Apple also sells the more expensive ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium, which supports a built-in Siri feature and HomeKit rather than HomeKit over Matter. According to 9to5Mac, the Aqara version remains compelling because it supports Adaptive Temperature and Clean Energy Guidance through the Apple Home app.

The inventory update also includes the Aqara Climate Sensor W100. In total, Apple added two Aqara smart home products and six other accessories.

The report said Apple is expected to launch the iPhone Duo later this month and a rumored "HomePod with a display" product in October. Apple's stores and website are carrying the newly added accessories.

Editor's Summary Apple's latest accessory update brings the Aqara Thermostat Hub W200 and Aqara Climate Sensor W100 to its stores, along with six other products, strengthening its Apple Home-compatible lineup. The Aqara thermostat costs $169.95 at Apple, $10 more than Amazon, and offers Adaptive Temperature and Clean Energy Guidance. Apple is also expected to launch the iPhone Duo and a display-equipped HomePod in the coming weeks.
