Apple Arcade debuts Sneaky Sasquatch and Subway Surfers+ crossover
Apple Arcade launches a crossover between Sneaky Sasquatch and Subway Surfers+, with new skins, hoverboards, and a birdwatching update in September.
The crossover, described as the sneakiest of the summer, runs through October 7. Players can unlock four character skins and two hoverboards, dash through a reimagined level inspired by Sasquatch Valley locations, with raccoon coins replacing the classic gold ones and the security guard wearing a ranger disguise.
Alex Rofman, Apple's senior director of Apple Arcade, said that Sneaky Sasquatch is the most beloved game on Apple Arcade and that this exclusive crossover, along with the upcoming birdwatching update, offers new ways for players to enjoy the game.
The September 17 update will add more than 30 species of birds for players to photograph. Photos can be submitted to a birder character to log in the bird database and earn rewards. Photos are graded on composition and subject, with bonuses for a bird's rarity, a brand-new sighting, or a lucky multi-bird shot.
Additionally, Sneaky Sasquatch stickers are now available for use in iMessage.
