A surge of workers logging in to view offers crashed the internal HR portal for several hours, and it recovered the next day. Individual packages reported by Handelsblatt exceeded 650,000 euros for senior, higher-paid staff, not as a general standard; BMW aims to cut about 8,000 positions by the end of 2027.
