Apple Card Adds Recurring Transaction Hub in iOS 27, 9to5Mac Reports

According to the report, iOS 27 adds a recurring transaction section exclusively for Apple Card. When viewing an Apple Card in the Wallet app, users will find a new “Recurring” option inside the three-dot menu in the top-right corner. Tapping it displays a list of upcoming recurring transactions and offers a monthly calendar view.

9to5Mac said subscriptions have become increasingly popular and easy to lose track of. While many apps and services offer subscription tracking, giving third parties access to financial information can raise privacy concerns. The Apple Card feature means those solutions soon will not be needed for Apple Card users, the report said.

The report’s author praised the calendar view, saying it is useful to see at a glance when each charge is expected to go through, and described tracking subscriptions with the feature as effortless. The author said they hoped the Apple Card feature would inspire more credit cards and banks to copy it, calling it an addition every card should have.

The feature has limitations. 9to5Mac reported that iOS 27 lists recurring transactions based on Apple Card history, so it will not always catch everything. The Wallet app includes a disclaimer stating: “Dates and amounts shown are predicted based on your transaction history and may not be exact. Routine spending may incorrectly appear as recurring.” If an item is incorrectly marked as recurring, users can correct the error, according to the report.

9to5Mac’s report did not include details on an iOS 27 release date or whether the recurring transaction view will be available outside Apple Card. The feature was described in an article published on Sept. 25, 2026.
