Apple in Colour, a website from sheets.works, catalogs 341 Apple product colors from the past 30 years, 9to5Mac reports.
The site lists the release year and official Apple color name, or number in some cases, for each product in the archive. sheets.works describes Apple in Colour as "a celebration of every bright, brilliant, joyful thing they ever made" and says it gathers "every bright, colourful thing Apple has ever sold, in one glorious pile," according to 9to5Mac.
The catalog includes iPads, iPods, HomePods and the (PRODUCT)RED Mac Pro from 2013. In describing the (PRODUCT)RED Mac Pro, sheets.works says "the most colourful thing they ever did was also the kindest," referring to Apple's long-running partnership with (RED) to help fund the fight against AIDS.
sheets.works has previously built interactive timelines for every iPhone and every iPad Apple has released, 9to5Mac reported. The new archive is available through the link in the report.
The 9to5Mac report also points readers to nanochromatic, a project by 9to5Mac's Dylan McDonald that "aims to celebrate and document the vibrant history of iPod color options." It asks readers to share which Apple product color they find most striking.
