Apple marks first iPhone 18 Pro pre-orders as shipped ahead of Friday delivery

Apple has started telling customers that the earliest iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max pre-orders have shipped, with deliveries due to begin Friday, September 18. Buyers can check status in the Apple Store app or on Apple’s website.

Many of the earliest pre-orders now show as Shipped in the Apple Store app and on Apple’s website. Customers can check their order status by opening the For You tab in the Apple Store app for the latest update, or by visiting Apple’s website and opening the Orders page. Those who opted into text updates may also receive a text from the Apple Store with the shipping update.

Apple uses four steps for iPhone pre-order tracking: Processing, Preparing to Ship, Shipped, and Delivered. The company also provides a link to tracking information for the new iPhone. That link leads to the third-party delivery partner’s website, such as UPS, which in some cases can provide more detailed information about the delivery window.

The earliest orders are now in transit, and Apple’s tracking system will continue to update customers until the devices are delivered. The shipments follow the pre-order period for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, which are scheduled to reach users beginning Friday.
