Apple Opens Amazon Pre-Orders for HomeView, Apple TV 4K, Siri Remote and HomePod mini 2

Apple has opened Amazon pre-orders for the HomeView smart display, fourth-generation Apple TV 4K, a new Siri Remote and the HomePod mini 2, priced from $59 to $299.

HomeView is the centerpiece of the launch. It carries a 7-inch square Liquid Retina display with True Tone and 500 nits of brightness that dims to 0.3 nits for nightstand use. Apple is selling two versions: a tabletop model with a domed speaker base and a tilting stainless steel hinge, and a wall-mounted model. The display recognizes up to six faces, each with its own home screen, apps and widgets, and its interface adapts to viewing distance, showing simpler information from across a room and more detail up close. Siri AI supplies personal context when the device is paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad, and world knowledge when it is not. A Center Stage camera handles FaceTime calls. Pre-orders start at $299.

The fourth-generation Apple TV 4K adds Siri AI support through a new A19 chip that Apple says delivers up to 50 percent faster CPU performance and twice the GPU performance of the previous model. Built-in far-field microphones let users say "Siri" or "Hey Siri" without pressing a button on the remote. The set-top box costs $299 and ships Nov 13.

Its bundled Siri Remote adds Find My integration and Precision Finding, along with a built-in speaker. The remote can be bought separately for $59, with the same Nov 13 delivery date, so buyers do not have to purchase the full Apple TV 4K to get the new remote features.

The HomePod mini 2 replaces the S5 chip with an S10 and adds Siri AI with personal context when paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad, a feature Apple says will come in a future software update. A new Sound Glow function turns the top of the speaker into a light display that pulses with the music and matches its colors to album artwork. The speaker comes in green, pink, blue, midnight and white, costs $149, and is the first of the four products to reach customers, on Oct 30.

All four products are available for pre-order on Amazon now, alongside Apple's own sales channels.
