Apple showcases iPad Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in 'From Earth to Sky' fashion show

Apple detailed how iPad Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max supported 'From Earth to Sky,' a Turkish fashion show.

Aydın’s creative process relies heavily on the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil Pro, paired with apps such as Freeform and Procreate. He seldom works behind a desk, and the report said he values the iPad Pro’s thin, light form factor and battery life that can last up to two days. “It’s the ultimate workstation on the go,” Aydın said. “That gives me freedom.”

For the Les Benjamins anniversary project, Aydın used Freeform to organize photographs, fabric references and early designs into mood boards that could be shared with his team. Procreate played a central role in designing the three custom-built hot-air balloons featured in the show.

French filmmaker Neels Castillon used the iPhone 18 Pro Max to capture the fashion show, including footage shot with custom-built drones carrying two iPhones each. The feeds from the drones came into Castillon’s production control center, where synchronization began on location. He reviewed footage and made selections on a MacBook Pro with M4 Max; its nano-texture display helped reduce glare from the sun overhead.

Apple periodically uses its Newsroom to highlight projects that show practical applications of its more advanced hardware and software features, according to 9to5Mac. The company said its @apple Instagram account would begin showcasing “From Earth to Sky” starting Wednesday. Behind-the-scenes video, photos and more details about the project are also available.
