Apple Sports 4.5 Adds Five Soccer Leagues and Expands Live Activities
Apple released Apple Sports 4.5 on October 15, 2026, adding five soccer competitions and letting Live Activities show key in-game statistics during breaks in play.
The update adds Brazilian Serie B, English League One, English League Two, Norwegian Eliteserien and the UEFA Nations League to the soccer lineup. The app now covers competitions across South America, England, Norway and European international play.
Live Activities in the app can now show key game statistics during breaks in the action across leagues. Apple said the change is meant to help users "stay even closer to the game at a glance."
Apple's release notes for Apple Sports 4.5 list the two changes: updates to Live Activities that surface key stats during breaks in play, and the expanded soccer lineup with the five new competitions.
The Apple Sports app has been updated at a steady pace, adding more leagues and sports while integrating more deeply with iOS features. The 4.5 release continues that pattern on both fronts, pairing wider league coverage with a change to how Live Activities present information during matches.
Apple Sports is available for download from the App Store.
