Apple Sports Adds Four Soccer Leagues and Real-Time Tennis Draws in 4.4 Update

Apple has updated its Apple Sports app with four more soccer leagues and real-time tennis tournament draws for Grand Slams and 1000-level events. The app, now available in more than 170 countries and regions, continues to expand its sports coverage.

The soccer additions are the Australian A-League Men, Egyptian Premier League, Israeli Premier League, and South African Premiership, according to the Apple Sports 4.4 release notes cited by 9to5Mac.

For tennis, Apple says users can follow tournament draws in real time, with brackets for Grand Slams and 1000-level tournaments. The app lets users see matchups and results at a glance for each round, according to the release notes.

Apple first released Apple Sports with a limited experience in terms of availability and sports covered.
