Apple TV Debuts Season 2 of German Dark Comedy 'Where's Wanda?'

Apple TV has premiered the first episode of 'Where's Wanda?' season 2, nearly two years after season 1 ended. The remaining seven episodes will roll out weekly through December 9.

Apple TV renewed the series in February 2025, but the company did not announce a return date until July 2026. A trailer for the new season was released about two weeks before the premiere. The remaining seven episodes will be released weekly through December 9.

The series follows the Klatt family as they search for their missing daughter. After growing frustrated with the local police's handling of the investigation, they decide to take matters into their own hands, uncovering their neighbors' dark secrets along the way.

According to Apple TV's description of the second season, the Klatts, played by Makatsch and Stein, believe their lives are finally returning to normal when their daughter Wanda, played by Drinda, is caught seemingly red-handed standing over a dead body. The family sets out to prove her innocence and avoid losing her again, a search that takes them into the criminal underbelly of their sleepy suburban town. Apple TV's synopsis asks whether the family's effort to protect itself will get them out of trouble or lead them further astray, and whether they can learn the truth of what happened that day before it is too late.

Apple TV costs $14.99 per month or is available as part of the Apple One bundle. Its catalog includes Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking and Silo.
