Apple TV Debuts Slow Horses Season 6
Apple TV has debuted Slow Horses season six, with weekly episodes through October 21 and two more seasons confirmed.
The season six premiere arrived one day after Saul Metzstein won Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for last season's finale, titled "Scars," 9to5Mac reported. It also came hours after Apple TV confirmed the show for two more seasons.
Slow Horses debuted in early 2022 to strong reviews and has since moved on a faster release cycle than usual, averaging more than one season per year. Expectations for the new season are high, with Awards Buzz calling it the show's best season yet, according to the report.
Apple TV describes Slow Horses as a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known, unaffectionately, as Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but cantankerous leader of the spies who end up in Slough House because of career-ending mistakes and who frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world. In season six, the Slow Horses are on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.
Apple TV is available for $14.99 per month or as part of the Apple One bundle. Its lineup includes Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking, and Silo.
