Apple TV won nine Primetime Emmys, finishing the 78th ceremony with a record 29 wins, as Widow’s Bay took 14.

Widow’s Bay was the night’s biggest Apple TV winner, taking home 14 Emmys. That total surpassed the 13 wins earned by The Studio last year, and both shows reached those totals in their debut seasons. Apple TV’s Primetime Emmy wins included Outstanding Comedy Series, plus comedy honors for Kate O’Flynn as supporting actress, Stephen Root as supporting actor, Matthew Rhys as lead actor, Katie Dippold for writing, and Hiro Murai for directing. In drama, Rhea Seehorn won lead actress, Vince Gilligan won for writing, and Saul Metzstein won for directing.

When Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson presented the Outstanding Comedy Series award, they also promoted their upcoming Apple TV comedy Brothers, which draws on the long-running rumor that the two actors may actually be half-brothers. Apple CEO John Ternus attended the ceremony and showed off the new iPhone Duo during an interview with Deadline.

Awards outside Apple TV’s wins went to Jean Smart for Hacks as lead actress in a comedy series, Matthew Rhys for The Beast in Me as lead actor in a limited or anthology series or movie, Allison Janney for The Diplomat as supporting actress in a drama series, The Traitors for reality competition program, Noah Wyle for The Pitt as lead actor in a drama series, Tom Pelphrey for Task as supporting actor in a drama series, Sally Field for Remarkably Bright Creatures as lead actress in a limited or anthology series or movie, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for variety series, DTF St. Louis for limited or anthology series, and The Pitt for drama series.

Apple TV is available for $14.99 per month or as part of the Apple One bundle. Its lineup includes Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking, and Silo.
