Apple TV Releases Trailer for ‘The Sisters Grimm’ Season 2 Ahead of October Premiere

Apple TV released the trailer for “The Sisters Grimm” season 2, which premieres Oct. 2.

The series is based on the New York Times best-selling book series of the same name by Michael Buckley. It follows two sisters who “navigate a town full of people torn straight from fantasy and fairy tales, confronting heroes and villains alike, while investigating the mystery of their missing parents,” according to Apple TV. The voice cast includes Abubakar Salim of “Jamestown,” Ariel Winter of “Modern Family” and Leah Newman of “Kindergarten: The Musical,” among others.

The first season consisted of seven episodes and earned a 100% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes. Apple TV described the second season this way: “In season two, one year after their parents’ mysterious disappearance, sisters Sabrina and Daphne Grimm continue uncovering the secrets of Ferryport Landing, where fairy tales and fairy tale creatures are real, as they face new adventures and mysteries.”

Apple TV is available for $14.99 per month or as part of the Apple One bundle. Its lineup includes “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “The Studio,” “The Morning Show,” “Shrinking” and “Silo.”
