Asus Vivobook S 16 3K OLED Laptop Gets $300 Discount in Newegg Back-to-School Sale
TechRadar reports Newegg's back-to-school sale discounts the 16-inch 3K OLED Asus Vivobook S 16 to $1,299.99, with bundled games and AI software.
The model covered by the deal includes a 16-inch 2,880 x 1,800 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor, 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, Intel Arc graphics and Thunderbolt 4. TechRadar notes that the 3K OLED panel's 100% DCI-P3 coverage suits photo, video and other visual creative work, and the 120Hz refresh rate provides smoother scrolling than a conventional 60Hz display.
Buyers also receive Intel's Gamer Days Bundle 2026 with two upcoming games valued at a combined $119.98 - Star Wars: Galactic Racer and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis - and an Intel AI Software Bundle said to be worth more than $400. The games are not immediately available; Star Wars: Galactic Racer arrives on Oct. 6, 2026, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is scheduled for Feb. 12, 2027. TechRadar says the Gamer Days offer must be redeemed by Oct. 31, 2026.
TechRadar notes that the current $300 discount represents nearly 19 percent off, but the laptop has been sold for less before, dropping to $1,100 earlier this year. The publication recommends the machine for creative work, productivity and heavy multitasking, but cautions that its integrated Intel Arc graphics limit serious gaming and GPU-intensive 3D work compared with laptops that have discrete Nvidia or AMD graphics.
The display is glossy and non-touch, with a 400-nit peak HDR brightness that TechRadar calls relatively modest for a premium OLED panel. The laptop has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and a microSD card reader, and supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
